Where does PIL ship?

PIL currently ships within the US, to all 50 states and the District of Columbia. You may experience longer delivery times and extra shipping charges when delivering to Alaska and Hawaii.

PIL is also open to international shipping to almost all of the countries around the globe.

 However, in the case of certain products, PIL may not be able to ship to the buyer's location depending upon the product origin country in which case the restricted countries/addresses will be listed in the individual product description.

What shipping methods does PIL use?

PIL uses a variety of shipping methods to effectively deliver the products depending upon the buyer's location, product type, weight, and dimensions to ensure the best shipping rates and safe and fast delivery of the package.

For shipping inside the US, PIL uses UPS, USPS, DHL, and FedEx to ship customers' orders. 

For international shipping, PIL uses DHL and USPS courier services. 

All orders are shipped with a tracking number which helps the customer to keep a track of their shipment.

The shipping methods are displayed under the description of individual products. PIL, however, reserves the right to change the shipping method before or after a customer has placed an order to ensure the most efficient delivery process.

How shipping rates are calculated by PIL?

PIL strives to offer the best shipping rates to customers. Most products have by default, a free shipping offer applied to them.

For other products, there is a flat rate shipping price which can range from $3 - $35 for a single piece/item. 

If a customer buys multiple items, a combined shipping offer is applied to the order which can range from 50% - 75% discounted shipping price. 

For USA customers: If the order value exceeds $100, a free shipping offer is applied automatically to the order.

For Canadian customers: If the order value exceeds $150, a free shipping offer is applied automatically to the order.

For European customers: If the order value exceeds $180, a free shipping offer is applied automatically to the order.

For International customers: If the order value exceeds $200, a free shipping offer is applied automatically to the order.

Tip: You can also get discounted shipping offers and free shipping by earning rewards and redeeming offers through points.

What are the expected shipping and delivery times?

Shipping and handling times are different for different products which are displayed on the product page, right above the "Add to cart" button, next to product title.

Generally, handling/processing time for each product is around 2-3 days and it takes 5 - 7 days for shipping couriers to deliver the package. 

In total, it may take 1 - 2 weeks to get the product delivered from the date of ordering and clearing payment.

PIL may be able to help in case of special occasions, expedited shipping could be used. It may require extra shipping charges. Please contact our customer support for more details.

Do customers have to pay import duties?

PIL does not pay any import duties and/or custom tax when shipping the products.

For USA customers: As more than 90% of our products are shipped from inside the USA, you will not have to pay any import tax and/or duties upon receiving the package. Your signature may be required by the courier service.

For international customers: Most countries do require an import tax/duty upon receiving a product from another country which can be different depending upon the type of the product and value of the product.

Please check with your respective country's customs before placing an order to make sure you are well aware of the extra amount or paperwork you may have to present upon receiving the product. 

If you fail to do so, the country's customs will send the product back to PIL and a refund will be issued. If this happens multiple times, you may get banned from shopping on PIL.
